Cambridge Labyrinth - Hinweise und Lösung
Dear puzzle friend!
Do you need a little help with the Cluebox? Under the tab "HINTS" you will find hints that will take you further.
Want to wrap a gift in the Cluebox ? Under the tab "SOLUTION" you will find the fastest way to open the Cluebox!
The tab "RESET" shows you how to reassemble the Cluebox so that other players can have fun with the Cluebox
Find the inscription “START” on one of the sides.
Set the word “START” correctly by turning the gear. Then rotate the box so that a hidden marble starts rolling.
The disc with 3 dots should be turned all the way anti-clockwise to unlock the movement of the 1st disc.
Bring the marble to the smaller hollow of the 1st disc.
Bring the marble to the bigger hollow of the 2nd disc.
Turn the disc with 2 dots all the way anti-clockwise and lead the marble through the tunnel.
Bring the marble to the smaller hollow of the 2nd disc and lead it through another tunnel to the 3rd disc.
After marble comes out of the last tunnel, turn the 3rd disc and bring the marble into the small hollow. Then turn the disc anti-clockwise – the marble can now go to the next side of the Labyrinth.
You should place the scheme onto the levers so that they fit in.
Here’s the correct position of the scheme.
Each lever is connected to one arrow and one number.
Match the arrow and the number to each lever individually, then remove the scheme and move the levers (the initial position is the one at which the scheme fits).
Example: ↓1 – move down one space.
After you have removed the scheme you should move:
Lever 1 – one space down ↓1
Lever 2 – one space up ↑1
Lever 3 – three spaces up ↑3
Lever 4 – 0 spaces – do not move
Lever 5 – three spaces down ↓3
Here’s the correct position of the levers. After you set them as shown below, unlock the top slider by moving it left and bring the marble to the next puzzle – the gears.
Ensure the marble near the gears can roll all the way right and left.
Turn the small 6 knobs as shown in the photo. The marble is supposed to run freely from one end to the other.
Each knob near the marble track has the same pattern as one of the knobs on the gears. Find all pairs.
Each small knob determines the position of the gear knob with the same pattern. Use the scheme beside the marble track. Remember that the small knobs should always be set so that the marble runs freely.
Check where small knob points (up, down, left or right) and match this direction to the shape on the scheme. Then turn the gear knob with the same pattern so that it points to the corresponding shape.
In the example below the small knob points down, which stands for “square”. So the gear knob with the same pattern should point to the square.
Here’s the correct position of all gears. After you set them, the marble can go through this side and come out to the next puzzle. Shake the box if the marble gets stuck in the tunnel.
At some points you will need to turn over the box to bring the marble to a higher level closer to the glass.
Pay attention to the crosses on the glass.
The crosses on the glass show the key points where the marble should come in a circular slot and switch to a higher or a lower level.
Here’s the complete route.
If you can’t find your marble, it is most likely on the lowest level. To check it, shift all sliders up and hold the box vertically as shown below. Tilt it right and left – you will see the marble in the holes.
To release the marble, turn the box upside down and tilt it left and right slowly until it comes to the middle. Then turn over the box – the marble will roll out onto the plastic surface.
To continue the track correctly, bring the marble to the 5th cross.
Here’s the detailed guide to this puzzle.
Shift the right slider to the top and bring the marble into the slot.
Shift the slider all the way down. The marble should fall down below the 2nd cross.
Bring the marble to the 3rd cross and shift the right slider.
Turn over the box to bring the marble to a higher level. Then shift the slider all the way down to bring the marble to the 4th cross.
Shift the middle slider all the way up and the left slider all the way down. Bring the marble to the slot near the 5th cross. Avoid the trap in the middle!
Turn over the box to move the marble to a higher level. Shift the left slider up. The marble will fall down below the 6th cross.
Shift the left slider all the way up. Then move the marble right and shift the middle slider all the way down.
Turn over the box to move the marble to a higher level. Then move up the bottom handle of the middle slider to lead the marble via the 7th cross, where it will come up, to the 8th cross, where it should fall down.
Bring the marble to the left below the 9th cross. Shift the left slider as shown below and turn over the box. Then shift the slider down – the marble will finish this track.
There is a pusher near the locked marble
You have to release one marble using the other one.
Bring the free marble between the locked one and the pusher, then use the pusher.
You need to use both marbles in the next step.
Bring both marbles as shown below, then turn the mechanism clockwise. The last remaining puzzle will be unlocked.
There is an element with an arrow sign.
Pay attention to the arrows depicting rotation.
The outer arrows show how to rotate the box, the inner arrows show the rotation of the central part.
Put the box onto a perfectly flat horizontal surface (the side with 6 marbles is on top).
Hold the central part and spin the box rapidly clockwise – all marbles should roll to the outer end.
Then rotate the central part anti-clockwise and take it out.
Watch the video to see how to spin the box.
Follow the link scientia.club which you can see on the spinner. To get the access password, you should spin the object.
Spin the top on a flat surface. While it is spinning, you can see 4 circles.
SPOILER ALERT!
Below you will find the quick solution of the Cluebox Cambridge Labyrinth. Use it if you want to open the Cluebox without solving, e.g. for putting a small present inside of it. If you only need a little help, use the "HINTS" tab.
Opening the box
Find this hidden opening on one of the sides of the box.
You should put a thin metal object in the hole and pull it down. To do this, you can use:
Sim card eject pin
Paper clip
Earring
Push pin
Needle
A piece of metal wire
Warning: DO NOT use a plastic or wooden object as it can break and get stuck.
When the lock opens, pull out the part with an arrow sign from another side of the box.
Resetting the box
Insert the central part and check that its 5 ends are located on 5 bases.
Rotate the central part clockwise to lock it.
Then insert the key with an arrow sign and check that it is locked.
If the marbles locked again before you inserted the central part, don’t worry – you can unlock them by taking the following steps:
Do not put the central part, hold onto the bases with your fingers instead.
Spin the box rapidly clockwise until the marbles roll to the outer end.
Follow the steps 1-3 above to finish resetting.
Watch the video to see how to unlock the marbles again.
Use this manual to reset the Cluebox Cambridge Labyrinth to its initial state.
Insert the central part and check that its 5 ends are located on 5 bases.
If the marbles locked again before you inserted the central part, don’t worry – you can unlock them by taking the following steps:
Do not put the central part, hold onto the bases with your fingers instead.
Spin the box rapidly clockwise until the marbles roll to the outer end.
Press down firmly on the box to prevent the marbles from moving.
Insert the central part and check that its 5 ends are located on 5 bases.
Watch the video to see how to unlock the marbles again.
Rotate the central part clockwise to lock it.
Insert the key with an arrow sign and check that it is locked.
Bring one marble to the pusher and the other marble to the initial slot. Then push to open the slot, bring the marble inside and close it.
Do the 4th puzzle in the reverse order.
1. Bring the marble into the slot and shift the left slider up to let the marble fall down below the 1st cross.
2. You need to bring the marble into the empty space on top. To achieve this shift the middle and the right sliders all the way down. Move the marble right and turn over the box so that the marble comes onto the glass. Bring the marble into the slot on the left. Then shift the left and the middle sliders up.
3. Bring the marble to a higher level and turn over the box to prevent the marble from falling. Shift the middle slider down to bring the marble to the 3rd cross where it should fall down.
4. Move the marble left and shift the left slider up. Bring the marble to a higher level and shift the slider down – the marble will come to the 4th cross.
5. Shift the bottom handle of the left slider up and bring the marble to a higher level. Shift the slider down to let it fall below the 5th cross.
6. Shift the right slider down and bring the marble to the 6th cross. Avoid the trap in the middle!
7. Shift the right slider up to bring the marble to the 7th cross.
8. Move the marble right to the 8th cross, then shift the right slider all the way down. Bring the marble to a higher level and shift the slider up.
9. Move the top handle up and the bottom handle down to open the slot for the marble. Bring it to a higher level and shift the slider up.
Bring the marble through the tunnel so that it comes out on the other side.
If it can't get through, check that the gears are set correctly and shake the box to make the marble fall on the other side.
Rotate the gears randomly. Let the marble beside the gears come to the left or the right end and then rotate the small knobs to block the path.
Unlock the top slider by setting the correct position of the levers and bring the marble to the top.
Set random positions of the levers and insert the scheme.
Bring the marble into the small hollow of the disc with 3 dots and turn it clockwise. The marble will come out below the disc and go through the tunnel.
Bring the marble into the smaller hollow of the 2nd disc and rotate it clockwise. The marble will go through another tunnel.
Turn the disc anti-clockwise and bring the marble into the bigger hollow of the 2nd disc. Turn all discs clockwise.
Bring the marble to the space beside the disc with 1 dot. Then rotate the disc with 3 dots anti-clockwise.
Bring the marble into the smaller hollow and turn the disc anti-clockwise.
Turn all discs clockwise to set the puzzle to the initial state.
Make sure the starting gear has the correct word “START” set on it. Bring the marble into the space behind it and turn the gear randomly.
The Cambridge Labyrinth is now reset!
