Kryptos - Anleitung für den Zusammenbau

• Place the basic element with the iDventure logo facing down on the work surface.
• Insert the two main pins (part 1) into this base element.

Slide part 5 over the main pins all the way down.

• Press part 5 horizontally against the main pins so that it connects to them.

Slide part 4 over the main pins all the way down

Press part 4 horizontally against the main pins so that it connects to them.

Use two pins (A)

• Slide parts 2,3 and part with the letters over the main pins
• Set the last letter of the secret word (in this example the letter T) as shown in the picture.
• Make sure that the opening for the Kryptos key always remains free.

Please note that every “level” contains 3 intermediate elements (4&5) plus the element with the letters

• Repeat actions as described in step 2 for Three elements (5-4-5).
• Use two pins (B).
• Insert the two pins with the wide side down.

• Repeat actions as described in step 2 for elements 2, 3
• Set the “E”.

Repeat actions as described in step 3 for elements 2,3, 4, 5 and Pins (B)

Letter “R”

• Set three elements (4-5-4).
• Use two pins (B).
• Use elements 2, 3 and element with letters

Letter “C”

• Set three elements (5-4-5).
• Use two pins (B).
• Use elements 2, 3 and element with letters

Letter “E”

• Set three elements (4-5-4).
• Use two pins (B).
• Use elements 2, 3 and element with letters

Letter “S”

• Set three elements (5-4-5).
• Use two pins (B).
• Use elements 2, 3 and element with letters

• Set two elements (4-5).
• Use two pins (C)
• Insert the two pins with the narrow side up

Insert the finishing element as shown

Insert the part shaped like a key to keep the Kryptos from falling apart.

Insert the Kryptos key into the opening.

• Check that all letters are set as desired.
• Now you can turn the wheels with the letters, the Kryptos is locked.
