Hijacked is a semi-cooperative dice placement euro game for 1-4 players, where you take on the role of independent negotiators trying to save the hostages from a hijacked plane. To achieve the goal, you will need to work together, earn the trust of the hijackers, meet their demands and win time.

The year 2050. Emergency at the airport!

A passenger plane has been hijacked by several intruders. The airport has been closed off; the plane is surrounded by the police. As a negotiator, you should persuade the hijackers to surrender or free the hostages before the police storm the plane.

Hijacked

A passenger plane has been hijacked. The airport has been cordoned off; the plane is surrounded by police. Efforts must be made as soon as possible to ensure that the passengers are safely evacuated from the aircraft and the hijackers are persuaded to surrender. Can you free the hostages and meet the demands of the hijackers?

Each player is a negotiator who must build a level of trust with the hijackers and meet their demands, in order to eventually free at least 3 passengers and 1 pilot from the plane before the police invade the plane.

How to play

Hijacked is played over several rounds, which consist of two phases: the action phase and the police phase.

Action phase

On their turn, players roll and place two dice to choose their actions:

reveal, choose and play passenger cards to collect sets and eventually free the passengers and the pilots
obtain demand tokens to trade them for passengers - crypto, medicine, food and intel - "wild" demand.
build trust, so the hijackers are willing to negotiate
persuade hijackers to surrender

Players can work together in order to free as many passengers as they can, but you can also work on your own.

When any player releases 3 passengers and 1 pilot, the game ends in that round and the scoring begins. The player with the most victory points wins.

Police phase

The Police Team advances 1 space toward the plane each round. If the police reach the plane before any player releases 3 passengers and 1 pilot, all players lose. This is why it is important to keep track of the police and hold them up with a special team action.
